How to create a Track order page

In this article, we will discuss the Track your order page and how to create one for your store.

What is a Track order page?

When a consumer puts a purchase in your store, Shopify will send them an order confirmation email that includes a tracking number. An order tracking page allows your customers to track their orders directly on your Shopify store rather than visiting a third-party website or contacting your customer support.


How to create a Track order page?

Unfortunately, EcomSolid does not support the creation of the Track order page. You may need to use a third-party application from the Shopify App store to create one.

Step 1: Access the Shopify App store.

Step 2: Use the search bar to search for the term “Track order”.



Step 3: Select your preferred app and install it for your store. Please finalize your track order page until you have the page URL. We will link this page URL to your store's navigation in the next steps.

Link the Track order page to your Store

Step 1: Head to the Ecomsolid Dashboard > Theme Editor to customize your current theme. 


Step 2: Select the Header section, and scroll down to click on “Edit Menu.”



Step 3: Input the new menu item and hit “Create” to add a new menu item on your navigation bar.



Step 4: Click on the Chain icon next to the newly created menu item to customize it further. 



Step 5: Input your previously created page URL into the Link field. Hit “Save” when finished.
