How to create a new page with the Page Builder

In this article, let's walk you through the steps of creating and designing a new page on the EcomSolid Page Builder.

The EcomSolid Page Builder offers you 5-page types: Home Page, Product Page, Landing Page, Collection Page, and Blog Post. Please be aware that the limitation of the page number you can create will vary depending on your plan. It’s 5, 20, and 40 for the Launch, Growth, and Advanced plan respectively. All pages created in the previous Page Manager will be classified as Landing Pages in the new Page Builder.

Create a Landing Page

Step 1: Go to the EcomSolid Dashboard > Pages > Landing Pages; then select "Create New Page" in the top right corner.

Step 2: Select “New Blank Page.”

Step 3: Next, enter your Page Title.  Check the box Enable Theme Header & Footer to include the Header and Footer of your theme on the landing page if needed.

Hit “Create landing page” when finished.

Create a Product Page

Step 1: Go to the Ecomsolid Dashboard > Pages > Product Pages; then select "Create New Page" in the top right corner.

Step 2: Next, use the search bar or choose a product from the list to assign to your new product page.

You might see the Used label next to the product name that means the product has been assigned to another page previously. If you select them, you will receive an error message “The object is already in use. Please select another object.”

Step 3:  After that, you should see various pre-built templates to create your page in minutes. Hover over your preferred template and hit “Choose template.”

Otherwise, you can start editing from a blank page by selecting “New Blank Page.”

Step 4: Input the Page Title and Page Handle in the respective fields. Check the box Enable Theme Header & Footer to include the Header and Footer of your theme on the product page if needed.

Hit “Create product page” when finished.
